Jaded

Love was a lie we once believed,

A fleeting dream that only deceived.

Now jaded hearts are all we own,

Beating cold, forever alone.

They preach of love, a boundless flame,

But to me, it’s a hollow, empty name.

What good is love when it tears apart,

Leaving nothing but a jaded heart?

Do you feel it too, this endless void,

Where love once lived, now destroyed?

Do you see the truth, as clear as I,

That love is a myth, a cruel goodbye?

We are the ruins of what love made,

Worn by the lies, broken and frayed.

No love exists, no chance, no start—

Just shattered dreams and jaded hearts.
